| My name is Sarah Watte, and thanks to the help of my mom I've been creating works of art from a young age and selling my work since I was about 10. I'm older now, and I have come quite a ways. I've sold my work in galleries and have expanded my repertoire considerably. I currently focus on gourd sculpture with Native American influences - mainly Spirit Dolls and Dream Catchers. However, I have many other mediums - I do paper mache masks in aboriginal dot painting, wax resist borrowed from Ukrainian egg dying techniques, and traditional acrylic and watercolor paintings, just to name a few. I always show with my mom, so my work can be viewed at any art show listed on our main show page. I've also done custom orders, so if you ever are looking for a special gift I would be happy to work with you. I can be reached from our main email, just make sure to mention my name - I would be happy to send you pictures of my current inventory. I am about to graduate from high school, and the profits I make from producing my artworks is going towards helping me save for college and my senior-year trip to Japan (so look for my future works - there may be some Japanese influences!). So if you have purchased my work or are planning to, thank you for the support! Sarah Watte |
